Zechariah the Jewish Priest Preaches Jesus in 500BC

Many people in today’s church gloss by or ignore the book of Zechariah. 

Yet it is filled with the accounts of Jesus in the Gospels 500 years before His birth.

Additionally in 1867, right in the midst of Jerusalem before the arrival of the Jews, a British royal engineer fulfilled the prophecy of Zechariah chapter, verses 5 & 6

This was a pivotal moment that catapulted Israel forward to the land they reside in today.

He went on to write the vision he titled “The Land of promise”.

Although he was a first-hand witness to see this barren dessert with nothing but occasional nomads for miles on end.

He envisioned Jewish people arriving and farming, convinced it could be watered & planting trees that could change the lands ecosystem.  He wrote the desserts could blossom.  Another prophecy that was later fulfilled from Isaiah chapter 35.

From this, the Ottoman Land code of 1867 would set in motion a series of events that led to Israel’s restoration. 

This anointed Old Testament priest and prophet not only recorded the arrival of Messiah in the flesh and His ministry, he was later offered dreams and visions outlining the conditions on earth as signs before the 2nd coming, but also the arrival of Yeshua and the restoration of man in the soon coming millennium.
